Manufacturers Alliance Insurance Agents

Like most large insurance companies with a national footprint, Manufacturers Alliance sells and services policies through a network of brokerages and independent agents.

These brokerages and agents generally represent several different carriers in every insurance category they offer, working with each individual carrier to provide the best service and policies possible.

This type of arrangement is beneficial to both carrier and agent, but also to the individual customer. A good brokerage or agent will make sure the customer gets the best policy possible at a good price.

Manufacturers Alliance invites brokerages and agents to apply for representative positions.

They offer an application on their website that can be filled out and returned to them.

In exchange for agent representation, the company promises to provide quality products, excellent customer service and support, and all the help an individual brokerage or agent needs to succeed as a representative of Manufacturers Alliance.

Unfortunately, the company website does not provide an agent locator service as do some others. Customers can certainly contact the corporate office for the names of agents in their areas. Or, they could consult their local yellow pages phone book.

Manufacturers Alliance Insurance Customer Service

Customer service is everything in the insurance industry. It doesn’t matter how good an insurance company’s products or insurance rates are if they can’t keep customers happy.

Manufacturers Alliance knows this to be true, putting great emphasis on excellent customer service. They commissioned an independent survey among their customers in 2009, conducted by J.P. Murphy & Co. The results were very pleasing for Manufacturers Alliance.

According to the survey’s results, 96 percent of the company’s customers said that Manufacturers Alliance met or exceeded their customer service expectations.

The results were nearly identical to a similar survey taken in 2007, except for the fact that more respondents chose “exceeded” over “met.” Among the things survey respondents said, Manufacturers Alliance did well in the following areas:

  • Quick response time
  • Aggressive claims service
  • Professional and courteous staff
  • Knowledgeable representatives who know the ins and outs of their business

Manufacturers Alliance Insurance Claims

Customers who need to make a claim with Manufacturers Alliance have one of two options. First, they can contact their local agent to get the ball rolling.

Second, they can contact Manufacturers Alliance directly using the information provided at the top of this page.

All claims eventually will make it through the corporate office in Pennsylvania, but there may be some advantages to contacting your local agent if there are circumstances or conditions in your local area which might have an effect on your claim.

Along with overall customer service, claims service was another aspect that Manufacturers Alliance customers are very pleased with.

Company claims adjusters respond quickly, treat you professionally and courteously, and investigate all the circumstances surrounding your claim to make sure things are done quickly and properly.
