Claims is a joke! I got more feedback and calls from the other person’s insurance company! Even when I complained about their lack of service and follow up, I NEVER once received a callback!

DON’T EVER GET THIS INSURANCE! THEY SUCK! They’re the most irresponsible, ill-knowledged, and non-helpful people I have EVER encountered! I never received ONE phone call to see how I was, if my services rendered were satisfactory!
Even worse, when an idiotic, typical Miami driver who got their license in a Cracker Jack box, hit me, they NEVER once called me. I had to call and ask them about the claim all the time! I got more calls and follow ups from the at-fault driver’s insurance company! When I decided to call them and complain about the lack of service, they didn’t even care, nor did the “Claims Agent” return my call EVER!!!

I would give this company minus 5 stars if I could. The customer service is deplorable.
I tried to contact them for two days. When I finally got a return call, they take all the information that the police report could have provided them over the telephone and tells me an adjuster will call me in 48 hours. That is two more days I have to wait without a vehicle.
I just started a new job. Are they gonna reimburse me for the loss of wages…NO….from what I have heard I will not get reimbursed for my rental vehicle because their insurance is not worth a crap.
This insurance company should not be allowed to do business in any state or country. This accident was not my fault but since the person has this sucky company as the insurance carrier I must get violated once again.

Absolutely Terrible. I have been lied to repeatedly, hung up on, sent a ridiculous check ($350 towards my $2450 bill). They will not return calls. Every time I call I am on hold for thirty minutes, and then nobody can tell me anything regarding my claim.
They “put a rush” on my claim, and it was nine days before someone came to look at my truck, which means at least two weeks before work can BE STARTED! Anybody looking to purchase insurance, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM UAIG. These people are a fraudulent company, and I have complaints into the BBB.
I also have a complaint with the Arkansas Insurance Commissioner. I will also be filing suit once the legal statute is up for them to resolve my claim. I have never had such poor service or been treated so unprofessionally by anyone. I’m fifteen days into my claim and have had nothing but a runaround.

This insurance company sucks and they are cheap, still haven’t paid for my hospital bill since 2012 and they paid me for low value as a salvage yard for the bruise bumper on my great paint job lincoln. The only star is for you people to get attention to read the other comments. I totally agree.

Was hit by a USAIC policyholder, obtained a signed statement at the scene from the policyholder. USAIC tried to deny my claim claiming conflicting statement given by policyholder.
Dishonest company.
Consumers, never consider buying your car insurance with this company. They are no good, it is like you don’t have insurance.
My 2001 Suburban was hit while parked (Yes Parked) in my driveway by a 2007 BMW driven by two teenagers who didn’t have permission from their parents to drive it. Totaled my Suburban.
I contacted my insurance and then they contact UAIC and now I am demanding they replace (not pay me for a nice down payment on a new Suburban) mine. My Husband has spoken to the claims adjuster and told him that $16, 300 would satisfy this claim. That would allow us to purchase a 2002 and put tires/brakes/fuel pump which I just had done, as well as replace the tree the BMW took out and repair sprinkler system.
I am out a vehicle, inconvenience due to some stupid action of a 17-year-old and they are playing hard ball. We now have to get an attorney!!! UAIC sucks.

I was recently rear ended and come to find out the person at fault has a limitation on his contract so I will have to go through my insurance company and be reimbursed. But, trying to do so with UAIC is a headache.
I filed a claim on 12/9/13. At that time, I was told that an adjuster would be contacting me within 72 hours. My claim was assigned to claims rep who should be contacting me within 48 hours. 48 hours went by and I did not hear from the claim rep. I called her and she took my statement over the phone and stated she’ll call me back.
I have yet to hear back from her since. I ended up calling to speak with her supervisor who assigned an adjuster to come out and inspect my car. When speaking with him he did not know when he would be able to come out since he had over 100 cars to inspect. I called the supervisor back on 12/26/13 and raised h*** so he ended up having another adjuster come out on 12/27/13. Which I explained to him that my car has minimum about of cosmetic damage.
After the accident, my check engine light has been on and the electrical power steering went out. The adjuster stated he could only put down the cosmetic damages which were totaled under my $500 deductible. I thought I had renters coverage but I was advised that I do not. So, I will have to pay out of pocket costs. Basically, it was no use for the adjuster to come out to inspect my vehicle.

I was in an accident over six months ago where the driver who hit me gave false information. UAIC has just recently repaired my vehicle and has still not paid my injury portion.

There should be an option of negative stars.. this company has worst customer care service. They just want to eat people’s money and sit idle doing nothing.
They have no coordination between their company and their agents. My agent did not send my documents to the company and I received a warning of my policy cancellation.
I kept calling the agent and he assured me that he has sent my documents. After few days I received another notice that my policy stands canceled because their request was not fulfilled. And still, my agent kept saying that no we have sent the documents.
Every day I am stuck between the agent and the company. The company says call agent we can’t help you. They are just sitting there to get people’s money. My issue still has not been resolved.

These people are a joke. Their insurer hit me and they are dragging me along about getting my pay off since she totaled my car. No one has contacted me and it has been four weeks. I won’t even give them a half star they are that horrible. I reported them to Insurance Dept of Ark so maybe they will get shut down.

I own a body shop and have dealt with this company twice. They are by far the worst insurance company we have ever dealt with! They lie to you about everything, and they don’t pay for anything! We had a car in our shop for 56 days and they still have not paid for a rental car. We have another car in our shop that has been there over a month and they haven’t even looked at it yet! This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are unprofessional, they are rude, they are dismissive, and they are a rip-off.
They canceled my policy, after two months of taking my payments, without telling me because I have a convertible which that information is given up front, AND THEY TAKE PICTURES!!!!! I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and got transferred four times then got hung up by a person who wouldn’t even give me their name. When I did call back and finally did get a supervisor, SYLVIA, was very rude and unprofessional.
I have also gone to the BBB about this company and I will not stop until I know that action is being taken.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. They do not deserve any stars at all.
One of their insured rear ended me. This was back in January. I have been dealing with this since then. They claim they need more info which I have already sent them numerous amounts of documents showing damage to my car and bodily injury. I have agreed on a settlement. That was the beginning of September.
I have been told three different dates that my check was mailed by a complete idiot that obviously does not know how to do her job. No one ever calls you back and that includes supervisors. Half the time you call the voice mail box is full and you can’t leave a message. How does a company like this stay in business. They are all crooks!!!!!!!!!
Horrible company, a policy holder hit my car in a parking lot. I can only reach voicemails and customer service transfers me to same voice mails. The adjuster, his supervisor, and his supervisor are all on lunch, vacation, or someone needs to file a missing person report on them. I am starting to think this is a sham company and needs to be closed down immediately for insurance fraud.
Basically, will echo what everyone has said here. They are crooks. They insult my intelligence. Initially, I reported the accident and gave recorded statement, I was told they’d take on responsibility assigned me to an incompetent excuse for “claims adjuster” named Johnathan Perez.
This guy has not once returned a call. Finally, after 4 tries I called the place that sells their policies “Dominguez Auto Insurance” located in Fort Smith & Rogers Arkansas who incidentally stated that UAIC is one of the best.
Dominguez called them and I finally got a call from a local guy that does the estimates for them. After dragging his feet a few days, he showed up and looked only at cosmetic damage when it was obvious that there would motor damage as well.
Never opened the hood, said once the body work is done they’ll do a supplement. This now, 15 days after the accident happened. A few days later, Perez calls me and takes another statement and tells me that they’ll contact me if there’s anything more. Another 2 weeks expire where I leave 7 messages for Perez, and 1 for a supervisor and still nothing.
I waited 3 days and contact Dominguez Insurance, to tell them what’s happened since and after hanging up, 30 minutes later I get a call from someone that tells me he’s Alberto Rivelo a manager there.
He apologizes and proceeds to feed me with BS, saying it’s still being investigated, and informs me that he will gather everyone and get me a quick decision after one month has already passed since the accident. He informs me that he’ll contact me 3 business day and give me a decision or it could take much longer.
Another week passes still nothing, and I’m now getting my lawyer involved and will post on every website, blog, BBB, that I can find. Also, stay clear of Dominguez insurance as well, they’re nothing more than a cash cow, do not filter sources and mislead folks like us.
They deserve nothing of a rating, not even on the radar. Scum!!

How are these people still in business? They refuse to answer their phones. Almost as if they do it on purpose. I was rear-ended 3 months ago and have not heard from them since filing a claim. I have called every single day and not once received a callback. I think the only way to get my reimbursement is through a lawsuit.

Thank goodness I have Progressive, whom took care of our vehicle and rental car and dealt with UAIC on our behalf. UAIC NEVER contacted me. It was near 3 weeks (after I had the police report for 1 week) that I had to contact them.
I was very frustrated that they had not even tried to contact us to which I was told they didn’t have my information…. Funny since I had their information from my police report. Funny since my insurance company had already contacted them directly…. They were nothing but rude always…..
Their insured tried to flee the scene of the accident because she was driving on a suspended license. WONDERFUL…. My husband was rear-ended so hard that his glasses flew into the dashboard and the back of his driver side chair fell off. Keep in mind that we have a 2009 Chevy Malibu Hybrid that could not be driven away from the scene.
Never ONCE have they contacted me to proactively close the case. Never Once have they contacted me to make sure everything is okay. They were forced to counter offer a letter sent by my husband to the tune of a whopping 1500.00 which doesn’t even cover our “medical expenses, never reaches time missed from work and doesn’t get close to a pain and suffering settlement.
I called today to find out what was going on. I didn’t even get my situation out before I was transferred. The man who answered told me that the person assigned to the claim no longer worked there and then I was transferred to a supervisor Mrs. Arios, whose mailbox is full…. This is all after a 30 minute hold time to start. SOOOO I called back, waited another 30 minutes and the rude woman who answered told me that she would send an email for a callback. I asked for the Mrs. Arios’ email address and was denied….
Over 3 years later and no closer to a settlement on this accident…………

This company sucks. Their driver caused the accident. They have verified that their driver is at fault, now they say they are waiting to see if they can get their insured driver on the phone. That’s some bul. And Everything I call the adjuster they assigned me “Enily Rodriguez” how is never in her office or doesn’t pick up phone. Your only chance of getting a callback or any kind of settlement offer is to document all calls and interactions with them and the outcome of every conversation and then file a complaint with any and all possible agencies. The best is the Department of insurance.
After dealing with them for the last 4 months I will be starting a petition to have their authority to conduct business in the state of Arizona revoked.

They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with!!!! I was rear ended by one of their insured back in November of 2014 and to date have not been able to get a settlement. You call and get hung up on or never get returned calls. I have had 6 different adjusters and that’s just for the bodily injury.
My vehicle was in the repair shop for 29 days for a bumper replacement and I had to pay out of pocket for my rental. The shop would not release my car because they have a reputation of doing this and had a vehicle there for 40+days they had been waiting on payment for. The bottom line is there is no way to get them to call you back or treat you with any kind of respect.
I escalated my claim up all the way to the VP of claims Jason Carroll and was still told my time off was not necessary even though I had a letter from my Primary care physician stating I could not work for 2 weeks.
They are terrible and the only way to get any response is by submitting a complaint with the Department of Insurance for your state and any other agency available.

No positive rating from me! I work for a body shop and repaired a vehicle for someone that their insured hit. They don’t return calls or handle a claim efficiently. Employees are rude and unprofessional.
I was told that our company would be reimbursed for the rental for the customer, and two months after the car was delivered back to the customer they have every excuse in the book as to why they are only paying $1300 of a $2700 rental bill. The customer’s entire 07 Tundra had to be repaired and painted, except the roof, because the customer spun after being hit from behind.
They held up the efficiency of the claim, and now refuse to pay the full amount of rental, and they accuse our shop of not repairing the vehicle timely. We needed approval from the claims handler, Freda, and she would not return my calls for several days at a time. The truck was at our shop for 3 1/2 months, and it was because of their lack of professionalism, but now we have to pay for their poor performance. Not today UAIC, I’m running it up the ladder with you!!!

Terrible company. My aftermarket in-dash screen and kit was stolen from my vehicle while UAIC had it stored for two weeks at an insurance auction yard “while the adjuster was looking at it” and they are saying there’s nothing they can do. Do not waste time or money on this company. They deserve everything that is coming to them legally.

They are a scam. I got in an accident 3 months ago. I have had 6 different adjusters and they never answer the phone or when u get on the phone with a rep and tell them u don’t want to get transferred to someone’s voicemail get me on the phone with a supervisor and they just transfer u to their voicemail anyway. They excepted liability but still no payment because they are trying to get me to sign a bill of sale when I, in fact, am keeping my car, so they are trying to steal my car is how I feel.

the only thing wrong with this company are the adjusters. trying to get a hold of them is super hard. I always get directed to the claims department and that’s where I truly get help. The claims CSR try their best to help me out and they, of course, try contacting the adjusters who never answer.
If they don’t answer to their own coworkers it shows they don’t care about their jobs.. however like I said claims department always try to help, getting a team leader on the line or sending an email or getting the supervisors on the line.
they make me feel like they understand my frustration and truly want to help. good job claims department. adjusters try to get better

Great, just awesome. After reading these reviews, I now know that I’m totally screwed. I was just hit 2 days ago by one of their drivers (who fled the scene)!!! I’ve already contacted an attorney, but with this type of reputation,

I have had a claim with his company for almost 2 Months to the Date, And I had no contact until yesterday, when on my lunch break I call 15 times and left a message every time. On the 16th, call I went to a hold line where I stayed for almost 30 minutes. When I finally got through to a rep. I found that they had lost my claim!
I started First thing this morning calling again, As I had found out that the adjuster was about two weeks out still after talking to the company yesterday. They have now set up a Digital assessment. I have no Idea how this will work, we will see.

This company is the worst !!!! Declined my claim without having the professionalism to call either me or my husband.
United automobile insurance doesn’t even deserve a rating at all. Salbatore Fiorelly didn’t handle our claim properly including all their unprofessional staff!!!! Didn’t want to take my claim cause I was not on the policy being that my car was FULL COVERAGE.

As much as I would have liked to settle this fairly without the added bother and the cost to UAIC (and their insured) of getting an attorney, I see that is not going to be possible. This has been a nightmare.

I swear I hate this company…so incomplete…so they say I Don’t have full coverage one minute and then I called my insurance agency and they say I do have full coverage. THEN when I wanted to Use them to get my car fixed they Don’t know anything….my insurance Doesn’t cover towing or rental…BUT I HAVE FULL COVERAGE ?? I hate it. never heard of anything like it…will be switching VERY SOON

Got hit at no fault last Jan/2016, two months have passed and we can not agree on the value of my vehicle that was declared a total loss. They under value your property. Terrible service, have to spend 30-40 minutes on the phone to get customer service.

Sorry for who gets hit by one of UAIC’s insured. Prepare to be frustrated beyond belief, as I have been. I was rear-ended by one of their insureds while I was stopped at a red light in December 2015. After getting rear-ended by a UAIC policy holder, my experience has been similar to others…..very poorly handled.
An Adjuster came out within a week after the accident and wrote up an estimate, which not surprisingly was less than 1/2 what a body shop quoted. Have not been able to speak to anyone since because they never answer the phones. 3 weeks later received a letter from them stating my claim is being denied because their client will not cooperate in the so-called ‘investigation’.
Funny part is, the adjuster made the mistake of telling me the client’s car was totalled. How would he know that if the client was not being somewhat cooperative(?). They seem to be well rehearsed in using every sleazy tactic to avoid paying claims.
UAIC is only interested in raking in $ and screwing over clients and claimants.
This site is as big of a scam as UAIC.
Let me guess…..lawyers trying to hustle some work???

The worst customer service ever, they are so rude and if they don’t need to pay they don’t care anything. Please let everybody around you know to escape from this company. I had an accident 4 cars involved and the car hits from back escaped.
All the other adjusters are calling and talking in a nice, helpful way; but since 2 days I try to contact with my adjuster. She doesn’t talk with other companies because UAIC doesn’t have to pay (damage is less than my deductible). Doesn’t try to guide me in a nice way because they don’t have to pay. Somebody should tell them money is not only concern we need a nice customer service.
Their service is worse than horrible, I don’t have any word to describe.

Got rear ended by a uaic policy holder. They don’t pay for your rental. They don’t answer calls. They take as long as possible to do anything. I’m a single mom working 6 days a week with no car. 6 weeks later no answers.

The worse car insurance ever!
I got into an accident past Thursday and I kept calling to report it, they told me they would get back to me. my husband called as well and they did the same with him. After 4 days I haven’t heard anything back. I keep calling them and they transfer me to a number where I have to leave a voicemail.
I have no car, I am paying a rental car out of my pocket even tho it is covered by the insurance but nobody bothered getting back to me and help me. So guess what people, change insurance company!!!!

A shame, abuse, disrespect.
Without any kind of responsibility they use the information on your credit card, which you provided under guarantee of its correct use, and when you claim a legal document supporting the unauthorized charge to your TC then they tell you not to have to send you any document, that I must manage this issue with my agency.
On October 22nd, they did charge my credit card without authorization, the reason is the extension of my policy for another 6 months without notification of what would be the new charge or renewal price. I canceled the policy but they tell me that will only return 70 usd from 248.00 usd which were charged to my card.
During these 3 days of claiming their treatment has been abusive, taunts, do not pass my call to a responsible person, and also tell me that I can do as I like, but they do not have to pay anything back. When I asked for their names to have a record of that conversation, with no respect they told me they can be called Yaquelin, or Lourdes, does not matter because they do not have to give me their real or full name.
I had not felt so bad for a long time. Of course, I’m going to dispute this charge with my bank. From what I read in the reviews below, it seems to be a usual practice of this company do this kind of thing.

we didn’t even get their services since they required more money but the deposit we left was $414.80. They decided since we didn’t want them they kept $334 we are disputing the charges since it was from a credit card and services were never rendered.

Absolutely the worst insurance company on the face of the earth.
I had my accident a month and a half ago and they have done absolutely nothing for me. They never call you to update you on your claim unless it’s bad news and when you call they make you speak to the worst adjusters ever with nasty attitudes.
This company should be shut down all together. It’s no wonder why they’ve been sued so many times. They take in no consideration to how your life is affected. After this accident, claim is over with I’m canceling my policy with them
Do yourself a favor and get yourself an attorney immediately and do not try to negotiate anything with these idiots

They posted my payment to the wrong account. Then canceled my policy for non-payment. Three months later they finally reviewed the case saw the mistake, told me they could reinstate my policy because it was inactive for too long and I have yet to receive my money back for the error.

I have a text that I can drop off my car at the body shop and then told that I did not have an “approved claim”… Due to “exclusions” on the policy….. 9 hours of documented phone calls waiting for a response from them 3 weeks later… I see how some people have been waiting years…. I have had the worst experience with the claim department and they are very rude They put the wrong car on my claim and they lied to me telling me they corrected their mistake two weeks ago and my car has been in the shop for three weeks because they won’t even over night a check so that I can get my car back.

UAIC IS A D*** JOKE!!! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
In 2014 I got a DUI(yes I know, I am not proud of it) Anyways, in the state of Florida you have to have an FR44(high-risk policy. 100,00/300,00/50,000 coverage) for 3 years after your licenses are reinstated. After shopping around UAIC said sure we will cover you and you can even make monthly payments, unlike other insurance companies you have to come up with the total cost of your 6-month policy all at once.
So I have been with UAIC for 2 years now paying an average of 320$ each month. At this point, it has become too expensive to continue with them. Within the last 3 weeks, I have been shopping around for cheaper insurance locally. I have literally gone through 15 companies to get insurance and have been denied by ALL of them. Not because of my DUI but because..and this is a kicker…All Insurance companies are required to report to the state.
Most of them also are required to report to CLUE. Basically, CLUE keeps track of your insurance history and any claims you have made. Well apparently UAIC is not required to report to CLUE, somehow they are exempt, go figure. So when I try to get a policy with another carrier, the don’t see any history on my CLUE report and they are basically scared to cover me.
I have asked that UAIC sends me a letter of experience that would show other companies that I have not had any claims and they have refused to so. After explaining that I could no longer afford them and that I could get a cheaper policy here locally, the rep I was speaking with basically told me she didn’t care. I told her that UAIC holds their policyholder’s hostage.
After going round and round for several phone calls and on the verge of tears, she said she would have someone in higher management contact me. That was a week ago and still no callback. I am pissed beyond belief at this point. Also to top things off, I was under the impression that my high-risk policy also covered not only another person vehicle in case of an accident but mine as well…FALSE!! Only covers anyone I hit, no coverage for my vehicle of someone hits me…WTF!!!
Here’s another one for you. My FR44 is to be held for 3 years consecutively. October of this year makes it two years that I have held it, or at least that’s what I thought. I found out a few days ago UAIC has me down for an SR22, which is completely different from an FR44. So now I have to find out if I will have to start my FR44 all over for another 3 damn years.
I have had it with this company. I have written to the state insurance board already and will continue to voice to everyone how incredibly s***** they are. DO NOT GET IN BED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL ROB YOU AT EVERY TURN AND MAKE IT TO WHERE YOU CAN’T DROP THEIR POLICY. I have made some mistakes in my life but this is by far the biggest!

I’m in the same boat as all of you – over a month in and they won’t answer/call back or piss on me to put the fire out. I’m pretty sure this company is illegal and run by criminals.
The first thing you need to do if the at fault person has this company is to file a lean on all of their personal property- this will help push them to push their illegal insurance company to move. I also filed a claim against the company itself, as well as petitioned the Ga State insurance commissioner to remove their ability to do business in Ga.
Let me tell you folks- this company is shady. The guy that hit me doesn’t own the car, a lady in another city does and supposedly there is a part of the policy that has 10 folks that have her permission to drive the car, no one is from here, and no one speaks English except the driver – no surprise.
Totally shady! I plan to be a thorn in their side or at least make life miserable for them.

The worst insurance company ever!!! The people are horrible; they’re claim adjusters never get back to you. They drag your claim. It’s been going on two month’s I’ve been without a car and they have not given me the money to fix my car that they’re insurer damaged. Not consistent, unprofessional, no sympathy for your hardship. DO NOT GET insurance with this company they will collect your payment monthly and fail to stand behind their policy procedures. When I got into an accident State Farm handle my claim within three weeks. As of now I am looking into getting a lawyer and doing a small claim in court against this horrible insurance company! They are complete rip offs. You go to they’re established and they have a security guard who will not let you in because they know they’re full of broken promises. I am disgusted and livid with the way they handled my claim! Completely absurd and shameful.
