What is Nationwide SmartRide?

Nationwide SmartRide: what is it and how does it work? This is a device that analyzes your driving behavior and formulates a comparable discount.

Those who sign up will be sent a little device to plug into your automobile for a period of at least four and up to six months. After this period of the device analyzing your driving, you’ll be awarded a discount.

How do you get this device? You simply go to nationwide.com and enroll. From that point, they will ship the small device to you within a period of 10 days.

Nationwide even has a tutorial video for SmartRide installation. All you have to do is plug it into the Onboard Diagnostics (OBD-II) port in your vehicle.

What about my driving will SmartRide record?

The small SmartRide device actually monitors several aspects of driving trends. Let’s take a look at a list.
