Nipponkoa Website and Company Review

While the Japanese version of Nipponkoa’s website appears to offer the standard information of an insurance company website, it is written in Japanese.

There is an English version, but this seems to differ greatly from the Japanese version.

It contains mostly corporate information and no specific information about insurance policies, filing claims, or receiving a quote.

While the main branch of Nipponkoa appears to offer a wide variety of products and financial stability in Japan, the U.S. branch is much more limited.

There is very little information available about the U.S. branch, making it hard for potential customers to find out if it offers a plan at a rate that would meet their needs.

Of additional importance is the fact that there are some recent reports of the U.S. branch of Nipponkoa being taken over in 2011 by the American Pet Insurance Company based in Washington State.

While these reports could not be confirmed or denied, it is worth looking into if you are considering Nipponkoa for your insurance needs.
