Everything is clear and easy to find, which is appreciated as a person who is looking to find the information I need quickly.
On mobile, however, it is a different story.
On mobile, Allstate’s website does not look as clean. While it is easy for you to find a quote on Allstate, as the mobile website makes this front and center, the dropdown easy-to-use navigable menu is not on the mobile site. Instead, it is hidden under a hamburger menu.
No, not the food. It’s an icon that consists of three lines. When you click on it, additional links appear.
Allstate’s mobile website does not give an indication that any content links are under the hamburger menu, so it is truly out-of-sight and out-of-mind. This makes it confusing for browsers of the site. Though it seems that Allstate is responsive to complaints about mobile functionality, so it stands to reason in the future these issues will be fixed.
