    I have had the unfortunate displeasure of being hit by one of Penn Nationals insureds and having to deal with the claims office at Penn. I have been in the insurance business for close to 20 years and I have NEVER seen a company use the type of delay and deny tactics being employed by this company.

    I was hit over 3 weeks ago in a parking lot by their insured on purpose. The other driver rammed my vehicle with his truck and caused major damage to my vehicle causing the drivers side door to be unable to open. Most times the police department will not write accident reports or citations on accidents occurring on private property but do to the overwhelming evidence, in this case, the officer point blank told the driver he HAD to issue him a citation.

    So we have a police report, we have the other drive being assigned fault by the officer via citation, we have witnesses (none of which Penn is interested in talking to), and we have the photos taken by them basically proving that I was hit dead center in the side of my vehicle.

    I have called EVERYDAY for 3 weeks and I am told that they are still investigating the incident. Then the adjuster asks me if I have a copy of the police report? I’m like are you kidding me?! Its been 3 weeks and you still don’t have the police report. Sounds like a real serious investigation to me.

    Based off of customer reviews that I have been reading about this company, this seems to be their M.O. These types of companies are the ones that give the insurance industry a bad reputation and my occupation a bad stigma! I can promise you that the Insurance Commission will be receiving a very detailed complaint about this situation and Penn’s Unfair Claims & Settlement Practices!

    I, unfortunately, took my truck to a shop that is insured by this company. My truck was damaged at the shop. Looks like I will have to sue to get my truck liking like it did before they damaged it. And the people that work at this company are very rude
