Well, it’s true. Blame it on great marketing, too much TV, or just the awesome curiosity and imagination of a 7 year old, but this was his wish. To their credit, the folks at the local agency made this wish come true.

The employees at the Bakersfield GEICO auto insurance company office made him a stuffed animal of the lizard, as well as having an appearance of 
someone in a lizard suit.
“It’s an easy request to grant and we live here and love to be a part of the community, so we are happy to do it,” said Trenea Smart of GEIKO.
I wonder if he was expecting a small, cute version of the gecko, and was excited (or horrified) at meeting a human-sized version.
